Chandrakant Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences (CINHS) was named and is based on the ideals of Dr. Chandrakant Umakant Patil. Dr. Patil was an emerging Public Health Physician who dedicated his life while serving the flood victimized rural society in the Sopaul district of Bihar and succumbed to the lightning while attending his patients at the tender age of 24. The CINHS started its journey on the birthday of Dr. Patil – September 11th – in the year 2020.
Indian Institute of Liver and Digestive Sciences(IILDS), developed by the Liver Foundation, West Bengal, is a state of art treatment, education, and research Institute in gastroenterology and Liver disease in Sonarpur, Kolkata, and the land is given by the government of West Bengal on a long-term lease basis. This Institute is envisaged as the apex centre serving people of Eastern India in the relevant discipline and also one of the leading centres in the country, for state-of-the-art care, education, and cutting-edge research in gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
